Clocking in at just over 100 miles, the Blue Ridge Extreme's Century has gotten even bolder and more Extreme. Coming out of the start at Beech Grove, the route heads through a right turn on 151 to a quick warm-up climb over Brent's Gap. After a turn onto Route 56 at Jonesboro, riders will be treated to a new climb to the BRE, the 2000 ft+ climb up 56 by Crabtree Falls. Following a scenic ride up the Blue Ridge Parkway, the course then winds through the valley before the day's second most challenging climb from Vesuvius to the mountains summit at the Blue Ridge Parkway. A quick descent back to Jonesboro followed by another brief climb over the backside of Brent's Gap brings our riders to the final challenge of the day, the climb to the finish festival at Wintergreen Resort.
